Athanor, Brandy Poli Distillerie

Athanor” was the furnace in which the alchemist distilled matter and where he metaphorically burned his own sins to purify himself and elevate spiritually, until becoming a master.

Not by chance, the word brandy comes from the Dutch “brandewijn”, meaning “burnt wine.”

Trebbiano is the ideal wine for brandy production, thanks to its delicate aroma.

Athanor ages in the distillery’s attic, where the temperature excursions favor the aromatic release of the wood.
