Visit of the students of the Hotel and Restaurant Institute from Castelfranco Veneto
On Wednesday, 31st of January 2007, we had the pleasure to receive a visit from a group of students from The Hotel and Restaurant Professional Institute Giuseppe Maffioli, from Castelfranco Veneto.
The students learned the various phases of distillation, from the arrival of the raw material to the bottling of the finished product until the final phase of sales.
The students were interested in the treatment of the grape-pomace and the distinct characteristics of the artisan production, above all to learn the antique functions of the copper pot-still used in 1898.
