Two Poli Grappas among the Top 50 Spirits of the world

Well two Poli Grappas were awarded among the  Top 50 Spirits of the world 2008 by the American magazine "Wine Enthusiast":

- Poli Barrique 1993: fruitcake, cinnamon, nutmeg and honey aromas are followed by baked banana, pineapple and vanilla smells. Entry is concentrated, Sherry-and honey-flavored, and spiced; midpalate taste profile expands to include baked fruit (nectarine, peach), clove, fruit pastry (prunes, black raisins). Finishes with integrated flavors.

Poli Miele: Honey Liqueur: smells of pine cones, new rubber, candle wax, dreid flowers, juniper, tree sap and cedar. Entry is sweet, but not syrupy, buttery and gracefully honeyed;

at midpalate the taste profile becomes creamy as the honey, pine, juniper, flowers and spirits integrated with precision and elegance. A perfect liqueur.

Thank you for this important award!
