The actuality of the Poli style, a refined balance of character and elegance, is due to a modern use of the ancient copper pot still, composed by steam cauldrons working at discontinuous cycle, among the very few still existing in Italy.
Poli - nomination at the Luigi Veronelli Award - 2006
On the 8th of June 2006 at the theatre of the Angelicum in Milan, the Luigi Veronelli Awards, instituted by Class Editors and by Veronelli Editors in honour of the great critic, were assigned.
Fourteen categories were assigned of which one of these was for the best grappa maker / distiller: the Poli Distillery received one of the three nominations.
We would like to thank the jury for nominating the Poli Distillery: it is a great satisfaction to be amongst one of the three candidates.
The award was given to Romano Levi from Neive to whom Jacopo Poli wishes from his heart a long life.
