Comparison Italian Grappa and Peruvian Pisco

On 10 July 2006 Jacopo Poli was invited by a Peruvian distillery of the Ica region to present a Seminar on the Comparison of Grappa and Pisco, the traditional distilled wine of Peru.

During the conference delegates examined the differences between the different grape varieties, fermentation and wine conservation techniques and the methods of distillation used.

Finally, mention must be made of the tasting of various distillates, to which Poli's PO' Moscato Grappa excelled - its flavour seducing the palates of the Peruvian tasters.
