Grappa meets the european Spirits

Grappa meets the european Spirits

What makes Italian Grappa
a unique spirit in Europe?

What’s the difference
between Italian Grappa
and the French Eau-de-vie?
And between
the German Corn
and the Scottish Whisky?

The Poli Grappa Museum
suggests a sensorial journey
through Europe, discovering
the distillates representing
every nation, among which
we find Cognag, Armagnac,
Brandy, Calvados, Whisky,
Vodka, Gin, Kirsh, Corn,
Akvavit, Slivovitz, Rakija, etc.

Some industry experts
will guide the guests through
a long comparative tasting
itinerary, to comprehend
how the features
of a population
and the spirit
of a territory
are contained
in a drop of brandy.

Tasting directors:

- Roberto D’Alessandro:
trainer and spirit ambassador

- Gianpaolo Giacobbo:
journalist and expert of distillates

- Jacopo Poli:
distiller and Poli Distillery’s owner

- Claudio Riva:
President and founder
of “Whisky Club Italia”,
disseminator and Whisky
connoisseur

- Davide Terziotti:
founder of “Whisky Club Italia”,
author of numerous distillate
books and the blog “Angel’s Share”.

During the event it will be possible
to visit the Distillery
and the Poli Grappa Museum.
A surprise at the end of the tour:
the bravest ones will be able
to test their senses, with
a blind tasting of 6 spirits…
With a final prize!
