IPSSAR Giuseppe Maffioli Institute visit
On Wednsday the 14th of November 2007 we had a visit from the IPSSAR Giuseppe Maffioli Institute from Castalfranco Veneto.
The students, guided by Jacopo Poli, learned about the history of the Poli family and the Distillery foundation, then followed the production phases (from the arrival of the raw material to the distillation, from the refining of the grappa to the bottling) visiting various production departments and the wine cellar.
In the final tasting session they were able to improve their knowledge of the organoleptic characteristics that distinguishes a distillate like Grappa.
